The Peppeteer program was formed this year and is designed to help pre-K through grade 3 children develop
their academic, social and creative skills. Each week, volunteers plan diverse activities that support these
goals, including eating breakfast, reading and preparing lunch together. We also create arts & crafts, perform
learning skits, play games and participate in field trips. Our most recent field trip was to the Chicago Public library. Peppeteers were exposed to the library?s vast resources and their amazing children?s program which is designed to inspire reading as a recreational pastime!
